Dawg music can be best described as the combination of jazz, bluegrass, and acoustic folk music. These are American staples and combining genres is what American music is all about. After quitting piano at around age 10, Grisman picked up the mandolin and never looked back.

The Movement has garnered critical acclaim and earned a dedicated fanbase for its infectious and distinct reggae throughout their decade long career. The trio’s last two studio albums have debuted in the top two spots of the Billboard reggae chart.

Gent Jazz Festival is running from 7 to 16 July, and is today announcing the first names of the 15th summer edition at the Bijloke site.
