When discussing the track, Moore says, "Calling You Out" is a song about finding the strength to say the things that don't always come easy when facing a conflict with somebody you care about. It can be difficult and frustrating when a person in your life, especially somebody you love, is unable or unwilling to change.

Self-produced, the 14-track album is a mix of originals and covers and clocks in at just under 45 minutes.
