The Owsley Stanley Foundation is pleased to announce the release of Doc & Merle Watson: Never the Same Way Once – Live at the Boarding House – May 1974. “A legend recording a legend,” is how Doc Watson’s long-time bassist T. Michael Coleman describes these rare live recordings of the American bluegrass giant by counter-culture icon and concert sound pioneer Owsley Stanley (known as Bear to his family and friends).

The California Roots Music and Arts Festival is excited to announce the food and craft vendor lineup for the festival happening on May 26-28, 2017 in Monterey, CA. Now in its eighth year, the festival continues to partner with stellar local food vendors to bring festival goers many dining options including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. Today, Electric Forest (EF) announced the lineup of performers confirmed to participate in the festival’s first ever “Her Forest” Curated Event for the seventh annual music and camping festival in Rothbury, Michigan, over two distinct weekends -  June 22–June 25 and June 29–July 2. The announcement marks a new offering by EF’s one-of-a-kind “Her Forest” program, the most comprehensive initiative of its kind at any music festival.
The best-selling country vocal group of the past decade, Rascal Flatts, will headline a limited Las Vegas engagement, “A Night to Shine,” presented by SiriusXM, in The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian® Las Vegas October 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21 at 8 p.m.
