Just over a month after the release of his new album The Gathering, Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band took the stage at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York for a Sunday evening filled with songs both old and new.

Roots & Branches Conservancy is pleased to announce a 2017 grant of $75,000 to Mount Tamalpais State Park in the wake of Sound Summit, its annual music festival to help support the mountain. The grant represents a 25% increase over its 2016 gift of $60,000, resulting in a three-year total of $175,000 from the Bay Area non-profit.

Fresh on the heels of his recent Fall Tour, Mike and his band will celebrate the release of OGOGO with a Winter Tour out west that will kick off at Neptune Theatre in Seattle on February 9. The tour includes shows in Portland, Austin, Phoenix, Santa Cruz as well as two-nighters in San Francisco and Los Angeles. A complete list of tour dates can be found below.

David Gans, host of the nationally syndicated Grateful Dead Hour, sat down with Grateful Dead on the Furthur Bus to discuss his roots in tape trading, the history of the GD Hour, his new book "This Is All a Dream We Dreamed: An Oral History of the Grateful Dead", jamband counter-culture and a humorous acid experience he had in 1973.

UK rockers The Struts’ have just unveiled the video for their US hit single ‘One Night Only’. Directed by Ryan Hunter Phillips the video captures the band’s high energy, colourful and captivating live performance. Hunter Phillips has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and many more.
