The Infamous Stringdusters have had quite the substantial last week or so, starting off with their Halloween escapades at the beginning of last weekend in which they were able to jam with none other than G. Love of Special Sauce. This past Monday night, the band was featured as part of the incredible celebration What The Night Brings, the musical tribute to the late mandolin master Jeff Austin, with whom of course The Stringdusters had befriended and performed beside many times.

The road to LOCKN' 2020 has officially begun with today’s announcement of next year’s very special edition of the beloved camping festival. Set for June 19-21, 2020, the 8th annual LOCKN’ will be an all-star celebration of Phil Lesh’s upcoming 80th birthday, taking place as always at Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm, LOCKN’s 387-acre property located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Arrington, VA.

From Bette Davis and John Wayne to Bo Diddley and Bob Dylan, the State Theatre in Portland has seen its share of stars since it first opened its doors on November 8, 1929.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, the theatre will kick off a celebration of its 90th birthday with a week-long scavenger hunt around Portland with ticket and merchandise giveaways to mark the historic occasion. From Bare Bones is the latest offering from Bucks County's, burly song-smith, Jeremiah Tall. His second full length LP is indicative of an evolution in sound as his one man band metamorphosed into a fully realized, modern folk, quartet with Jeremiah Tall at the helm.  

Grateful Web: Tell us a little bit about why you decided to include the band in the recording of your latest and how they impact the sound of Jeremiah Tall.

Pink Talking Fish will kick off 2020 with a Coast to Coast Tour that brings the band from East to West and back again. The tour begins with shows in Vermont including a 2-night run at Phish’s Holy Ground of Nectars in Burlington VT.  PTF runs up and down the West Coast after that, beginning with their debut at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA.  The West Coast run includes stops in Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, Portland, Seattle and more.

Genre-defying funk-jazz-soul-hip-hop-psychedelic-jam-art-rock-experimental-avant-garde music titans Lettuce kick off the second round of dates on their Elevate Tour, their headlining trek supporting the band's latest studio album Elevate, starting tonight, November 6th, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

“These Allman Family Revival shows have become an annual reunion for our musical family. This year, going from just one show in San Francisco to 3 shows including Denver and NYC is going to be epic. The musicians that have signed on have really upped the ante. We are so stoked to jam with our friends in Dad’s honor!” said Devon Allman.

Things are getting a little chilly around the country but two groups that are sure to heat up every room they play are Cris Jacobs Band and Midnight North. Ten dates throughout the Northeast and Midwest, there are sure to be collaborations along the way between the groups.

Hot Tuna is not just a concert but also an event.  Folks can categorize their music as Blues, Folk, Psychedelic, Americana, or Blues Rock and they would all be right. I have been fortunate to have been listening to Hot Tuna since I was a youth. I have seen Jorma and Jack play electric, acoustic, and with the Jefferson Airplane reunion. They have been part of the soundtrack of so many friends’ lives as well as mine.
