Atlanta’s synth-pop-rock onslaught Stokeswood will release their new album 2075 on June 16th, 2015. Voted “"Best Local Rock Act" by Creative Loafing in 2013 and 2014, the quintet combines a sinful blend of Alternative Rock, Electro-Pop, and EDM to create a bombastic foundation for their cleverly crafted songs. Stokewood are known for their high-energy performances, and for 2075, the band took careful measure to include the exuberance felt at their shows.

On 2075, Stokeswood merges strong vocals with up-tempo grooves to provide the backdrop for an undeniable dance party. “If The Killers, Holy Ghost!, and Panic! At the Disco were fused with Tea Leaf Green and Lotus, you might get something resembling Stokeswood,” says Sensible Reason. On stage, the band members can often be found gliding between keys, synths, bass, drums, and guitar like a game of musical chairs.

The album jumpstarts with the title track “2075” featuring a driving drum beat and blazing guitar licks. Layered vocal harmonies and synth lines pepper the album on tracks including “Forget” as well as the first single “Our Streets”. Closing out with arpeggiated synths on “Stop By”, 2075 delivers a heavy hitting dose of alternative rock with dance-pop sensibilities.

The official video for “Our Streets”, released today, displays the band’s animated live performance style against a storyline reminiscent of Indiana Jones. The gritty tendencies of Stokeswood’s music, coupled with the polished production, create a riveting four-minute cinematic diversion. Watch it BELOW.
