Through May 17, Contour will donate a portion of every ticket sold to benefit disaster relief in Nepal via Charity: Water. “Contour is meant to be a celebration in the incredible mountain environment found here in Jackson,” says co-producer Jeff Stein, who has spent many years in Nepal working as a guide for mountaineering, trekking and biking trips. “We share a connection to other mountain communities and as we gather to dance to the music and see the art that inspires us we'd like to offer a way to help those whose lives have been turned upside down. Music opens hearts.” Details HERE.

The remote location of Jackson is bursting with amazing outdoor activities and a vibrant arts community, and Contour Music Festival combines a top-notch music experience with all that the local community and remote atmosphere has to offer. By day, fishing and white water rafting in the Jackson River and whitewater rafting in the stunning Snake River Canyon are just a couple of the outdoor activities to be enjoyed in the abundantly lush landscapes of the surrounding Teton Valley.  The area has a growing reputation for its fantastic biking trails, and Contour 2015 has partnered with Mountain Bike the Tetons to offer an area at the festival to get information on trails, go on group rides, and try out demo bikes.

The festival’s Art Garden, located at the town’s Center for the Arts, offers a free space for all of the community to enjoy large scale installations, interactive areas, a variety of workshops and creative talks, dance programing, comedy and more. Programming details for Contour’s Art Garden to be unveiled soon.

Contour has partnered with craft brewery Deschutes Brewery, who will be pouring their tasty year round brews as well as seasonal picks throughout the festival, and with Teton Gravity Research, who will document the festival’s inaugural year. Contour is offering a wide range of local hotels and lodging accommodations for room and board. There are a variety of options and prices to match every budget.
