Just a quick reminder - the current Mimi Fishman Foundation on-line charity auction ends Thurday, March 1.  The original auction announcement is below.  We urge you to check it out if you haven't already.  Thanks for your support! The Mimi Fishman Foundation has launched a new on-line charity auction that features many show used drumsticks and drumheads from Phish’s 2011 shows.  Every stick and head is dated as well as signed by Phish drummer Jon Fishman. The headliner of the auction is the “dress” Jon Fishman wore during the Sept 4, 2011 show at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Commerce City, CO.   While Fishman traditionally wears (on stage) a mu-mu style dress with O’s (doughnuts) on Sept 4, 2011 he surprised everyone by wearing a dress with X’s instead of O’s.  The dress – which was only worn during this one show – is featured on the auction.Proceeds from this auction will benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children With Visual Impairments – specifically to support the newly created Mimi Fishman Adventure Camp which is coordinated by Delta Gamma and offers a safe camp like environment for visually impaired children. The on-line auction is currently live with the bidding coming to close on Thursday, March 1.To view and/or bid on the auction, as well as read about the charities the auction supports, please visit the Mimi Fishman Foundation Auction Page.
