This January, bass wizard DATSIK will be playing a double hitter in Chicago on his upcoming Ninja Nation tour, which will be showcasing a brand-new “Shogun” stage design! Both Chicago dates will be held at Concord Music Hall on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21.

Tickets to Night 1 and Night 2 are on sale now!

The announcement of Datsik’s new tour comes ahead of his Sensei EP, set for release this December through Firepower Records. Featuring a wide assortment of face-melting, ground-shaking dubstep and bass tracks, the EP is sure to be one of the producer’s wildest creations to date.

The Shogun stage, Datsik’s newest iteration in his long catalogue of epic, live designs, was described by him as an embodiment of what it means to be a “rave ninja”:

“The Shogun stage is the next chapter and is an amalgamation of my wildest vision to date. After touring with the Vortex, I’ve wanted to create something unique that will stand out from the rest, and embody what it is to be a rave ninja. We’ve got a ton of dope surprises waiting for you u with this one, so get ready to have some fun!”

In anticipation of his EP’s official release, fans can now tide themselves over with the work’s very first single, “Just Saiyan.” Spawned from Datsik’s love from the iconic television series Dragonball Z, the extreme bass and unfathomable rhythms of “Just Saiyan” are expertly punctuated by some of the show’s most nostalgic quotes and sound effects.

Attendees of his performance on Friday, January 20 will also be treated to monumental opening sets from dubstep legends Virtual Riot, Crizzly and Doctor P. The following night, Crizzly and Virtual Riot will return alongside a very special guest, yet to be revealed.
