Elvin Bishop & Charlie Musselwhite's 100 Years Of Blues Nominated in Best Traditional Blues Album Category

On Tuesday, November 23, The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Awards. Three Alligator Records albums were recognized.

Elvin Bishop & Charlie Musselwhite's acclaimed 100 Years Of Blues received a nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album. Bishop has been nominated for three previous Grammy Awards. Musselwhite has been nominated 13 times, and won a Grammy Award in 2013.

Shemekia Copeland's groundbreaking release, Uncivil War, received a nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Copeland has received three previous Grammy Award nominations.

Christone "Kingfish" Ingram's sophomore release, 662, also received a nomination in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category. His debut, Kingfish, received a Grammy Award nomination in 2019.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on January 31, 2022.
