Estas Tonne to Perform in the United States

Witness life in its immediate presence through the audible journey of master guitarist and troubadour, Estas Tonne. Come and watch the authentic unfolding of music through emotional expression and a deeper connection.

Estas Tonne’s brings his spiritual sounds and velocity of excitement to his first ever US tour, The Breath of Sound. The tour will include 24 cities starting in Escondido, CA on November 1, 2018, and ending in New York's Tribeca Performing Arts Center on December 16, 2018.

Estas Tonne performs at the Boulder Theater in Boulder on December 4 at 8:00pm. Tickets are available at BoulderTheater.com and at the Boulder Theater’s box office.

 Tonne won’t be alone on his journey, he’ll have some special guests. Sergei Polunin will join him in Los Angeles on November 4, San Francisco, November 6, and Sacramento, November 7. Peia will join him in Ashland, Oregon, November 16, Eugene, November 17, and Portland, November 18. Michael Shrieve will join him for one special night in Seattle on November 20, 2018.

The Breath of Sound tour focuses on sounds with a different acoustic frequency and vibrational level. This has a profound effect on all living things. Tonne chose the name of the tour to encourage everyone to “breathe while they listen.” Through bold guitar, art, culture, and spirituality, Tonne takes us on a journey where you may learn more about yourself, than anything else.

About Sergey Polunin Sergey Polunin is one of the most talented and extraordinary dancers of modern day. He’s the Royal Ballet's youngest ever principal at the age of 19. The New York Times described Polunin as "a fabulous dancer, with a steely technique and beautiful line." Sergey Polunin’s is well known for his dance video with famous photographer and music director David LaChapelle. The video “Take Me to Church” went viral, claiming over 25 million views on YouTube alone.

About Peia With a resounding and powerful voice, Peia expresses her holistic vision and passion. Peia originally studied opera at the New England Conservatory in Boston before making the jump to world folksong. Having travelled extensively over the past decade, she plays the charangon with driving percussion to create lush and organic soundscapes. Her mesmerizing performances offer authentic re-imaginings of traditional musical treasures, along with a stunning repertoire of her own original songs.

About Michael Shrieve Best known as the drummer for Santana, Shrieve was one of the youngest, yet most powerful musicians at Woodstock in 1969. In fact, his drum solo during "Soul Sacrifice" has been described as "electrifying." Currently, Shrieve lives in Seattle, Washington, where he plays in a fusion jazz group, Spellbinder, at The White Rabbit every Monday night in Fremont, Seattle.

About Estas Tonne A charismatic and worldly being, Estas Tonne does not assign himself to a single nation or culture. He explores the individuality of sound with authenticity and love. His music is a raw fusion of classical structure, technique of Flamenco, roots of Gypsy, characteristics of Latin and Electronic Soundscapes.
