Fourmile Canyon Revival Photos

Article Contributed by gratefulweb | Published on Monday, October 11, 2010

Check out some photos from last night's Fourmile Canyon Revival, featuring String Cheese Incident, Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman, Page McConnell, Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon and Big Head Todd and the Monsters.  This show was a benefit for the firefighters who fought the recent fires in the foothills of Boulder County.  All the local Boulder hippies bands were on hand and the timing was impeccable for Phish as they're about to begin a 3-night run in the same venue.  KBCO was the sponsor of the event, which brought in some local mayors, our local congressman Jared Polis, as well as many of the firefighters who fought the Fourmile Canyon fire back in early September.

The show started off with the Drew Emmitt and Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon, who was joined by Phish keyboardist, Page McConnell.   Between sets KBCO's Brett Saunders introduced the audience to some of the brave firefighters who fought the Fourmile Canyon fire, as did String Cheese Incident's Keith Mosley, who told of how he and his family were affected by the fire.

The Grateful Web be on-hand tonight and Tuesday night taking photos, shooting some videos, interviewing some phans, etc.  Be sure to say hello and have your picture taken.  And be sure to check back soon for Grateful Web's write-up of the Fourmile Canyon Revival.

Thanks to the kind folks who arranged a photo pass for Grateful Web.  We hope enjoy the photos.  More photos will be coming later today as well as some video snippets, so be sure to check back for that.

Enjoy,

The Grateful Web
