Greensky banjoist Mike Bont dressed like Andy Goessling, mandolinist Paul Hoffman recreated John Skehan’s vibe, guitarist/vocalist Dave Bruzza became Todd Sheaffer, bassist Mike Devol became Andrew Altman and Greensky’s dobro extraordinaire Anders Beck fashioned his set as Tim Carbone. The late-night set included Greensky classics as well as bluegrass covers performed by both newgrass groups including “Ain’t No Bread in the Breadbox” and many more.Greensky Bluegrass continues their tour this week in Montana before another Halloween weekend in Seattle & Portland. They’ll wind down the California coast with stops at The Fillmore, Troubadour and Belly Up before finishing their epic two-month tour with two nights at the Gothic Theatre in Denver, CO November 15 and 16.
