Boulder Weekly & Z2 Entertainment are proud to presents The Greyboy Allstars featuring Fred Wesley performing “West Coast Boogaloo” at the Boulder Theater on Saturday, March 31st, 2012.  Tickets go on sale Friday, February 3rd at 10:00am for $25.00 general admission & $30.00 the day of the show.

When The Greyboy Allstars first formed almost 15 years ago, some of the West Coast’s visionary young musicians came together to realize the unique artistic vision of rare groove luminary DJ Greyboy:  an original sound reminiscent of ‘70’s soundtrack music.  “What Happened to Television?,” the group’s first studio album in nearly a decade, finds them reunited with DJ Greyboy, whose role as producer marks his first collaboration with the band since their seminal 1995 breakthrough “West Coast Boogaloo.”

The Greyboy Allstars team up with Fred Wesley, trombonist, composer, arranger, bandleader and author, to perform “West Coast Boogaloo” in its entirey at the Boulder Theater.  These funk masters of jazz fusion will hit the stage with full force & blow the socks off anyone within range!!  Don’t miss this show!
