Hear TTB's New Album @ Sunshine Festival

On January 29th, 2016 Tedeschi Trucks Band, led by the husband-and-wife team of singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi and guitar virtuoso Derek Trucks, will cap an extraordinary and transformative year with the release of Let Me Get By, their third full-length LP and debut for Fantasy Records. Recorded at Swamp Raga Studios, the band’s home studio in Jacksonville, Florida, Let Me Get By is an absorbing, self-assured, artistic leap forward. Playing with an economy of power and uncommon grace, the 12-piece outfit—one of the most deeply skilled and admired musical ensembles in the world—explores themes of independence, love and release.

Once again the award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band will be headlining the 2016 Sunshine Music Festival featureing a great line-up of exciting acts on two live music stages along with a wider array of refreshing craft beers and delectable menus from a wider variety of food vendors.  The Festival will kick off Saturday, January 16, 2016, 11AM, at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay Area and then Sunday, January 17, 2016, 11AM at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida.

For the fourth year in a row the Tedeschi Trucks Band, or TTB as their loyal fans prefer to call them, headline what has fast become their signature musical event. Also appearing on this year’s bill for the Festival are: Singer/Songwriter/Musicians The Indigo Girls who Rolling Stone describes as the “ideal duet partners. Their voices soar and swoop as one, alternately raucous and soothing”; popular New Orleans hard-edged funk band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue; Hard Working Americans an American rock super group featuring singer Todd Snider, bassist Dave Schools from Widespread Panic, Neal Casal of Chris Robinson Brotherhood on guitar and vocals, Chad Staehly of Great American Taxi on keyboards and Duane Trucks, younger brother to Derek on drums; Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, regarded as one of the best live bands on the planet and fresh off the Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour; New Orleans rock hybrid The Revivalists;  the unique dobro influenced sound of The Jerry Douglas Band; Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna legendary guitarist Jorma Kaukonen; the rocking guitar mastery of the Bobby Lee Rodgers; and the killer licks, soaring guitar solos and heart wrenching vocals of Joanne Shaw Taylor.
