Following their upcoming performance at Brooklyn Bowl on May 28th, Let’s Danza! is returning to NYC for a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on The Lucille on Friday Aug. 18th. Tickets are going quickly, available now through RocksOff.com. The Lucille is the smallest of the Rocks Off Concerts’ fleet, which means fans that are able to make it on board will get a truly intimate experience with Let’s Danza! through one of NYCs most unique concert venue experiences.

Let’s Danza! features founding Brothers Past members Thomas McKee (keys) and Clay Parnell (bass - also of Particle/Biodeisel/CIA) alongside second keyboardist Ian McGuire (CIA). In addition to a hallmark two key-player setup, the project has another distinctive X factor:  a rotating drummer selected from among some of rock and livetronica’s best touring acts nationwide. Previous performances have included Mike Greenfield of Lotus and Kito Bovenschulte from Particle – Kito will drum for the two upcoming NYC plays.

"It's just really exciting to be performing and writing new music again," Tom McKee said. "I've always thought it would make for an interesting project to watch two keyboard players make improvised electronic music with a great rhythm section, but there was never a real opportunity to explore it.

On Sunday May 28th – Memorial Day Weekend – Let’s Danza! will be sharing the bill with New York’s own Horizon Wireless at Brooklyn Bowl, as well as Columbus, Ohio’s Jahman Brahman who will kick off the music. While none of the individual members of the band are strangers to the Bowl, this will be the first time they’ll play together as Let’s Danza! in NYC.

“It kind of came together as a night of improvised dance music at a club in Philly, and took off from there. It was apparent pretty quickly that there was something unique about it, so we're going to do more with it.  I've been writing and recording a lot of new music over the past year and I'd expect that some of that will eventually be ‘Danza'd’. And of course, there's quite a few songs I've written over the years for Brothers Past and other projects that we can draw from. It's been good to have that collection of songs as a starting point, and of course, we've already played a handful of them."

Stay tuned for more upcoming dates and announcements from Let’s Danza! in the coming weeks and months, including a mastered live release from their April play at Philly’s South Bowl that will be available in early May.
