Lettuce and The Lee Boys' BBQ and music weekend

A huge weekend is set for Jan. 13-15 at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park with the hot and spicy jams of the popular band Lettuce and ever famous Lee Boys! And that’s just Friday and Saturday, Jan. 13-14! Sunday is the huge and spectacular annual Wedding Expo with bridal show featuring live models, wedding vendors and a chance to finish planning your upcoming wedding all at one event!

Lettuce will bring its award winning exploration of the frontier of funk back to the SOSMP Saturday, Jan. 14, for what is sure to be an explosive two-set sonic showcase in the Music Hall. Regional favorites Jaw Gems and The Galbraith Group will be on hand to light the fuse before Lettuce blows the roof off with its unique music. For more than two decades Lettuce has brought a new vitality to classic funk, matching its smooth and soulful grooves with a hip-hop inspired urgency and mastery of beat.

Joining Friday’s gospel tinged headliners The Lee Boys Jan. 13 will be Troy Youngblood and the Soulfish and their blues jams. The Lee Boys are one of America’s finest African-American sacred steel ensembles and have performed all over America, including numerous times at the SOSMP.
