Today, Lotus announces a three-night run at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl, April 14-16. Billed as “An Evening with Lotus,” there will be no opening acts as the band plays extended sets.

Before making it to the Big Apple, the guys hit New Orleans for BUKU Music + Art Project and two nights in Atlanta. Tickets to the Terminal West show are only available to those who purchase a show package including the CounterPoint Pre-Party at Buckhead Theatre.

The band kicks off April dates with two nights at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on April 11 & 12. After NYC, they perform two nights at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live before hitting Austin for Euphoria Music Festival and Illinois’ Summer Camp Music Festival.

Lotus continues to tour in support of two 2013 releases. Build (stream / purchase) is set on a foundation of beats evoking vinyl breaks, house, and big-beat; the album is a funky dance party from start to finish. The hip-hop album, Monks (stream / free download), features the band’s studio work as a sample source but recontextualized as classic hip-hop with guest rappers Gift of Gab, Mr. Lif, Doodlebug, Lyrics Born, Ozay Moore, Ras Arcane and more.

Lotus is composed of Mike Greenfield (Drums), Jesse Miller (Bass, Sampler), Luke Miller (Guitar, Keys), Mike Rempel (Guitar) and Chuck Morris (Percussion).
