Music and Arts festival The Mad Tea Party Jam, presented by Appalachian Jamwich, has announced the dates for their 5th annual event.  The unique 3-day festival will take place June 16-19, 2016, at a new venue, Four Quarters Interfaith in Artemis, PA.  This premiere venue of the Northeast features shaded camping, showers, flushing toilets, swimming holes, and a beautiful "vibration" built by years of spiritual love and respect for the land.

The Mad Tea Party Jam was originally created to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Appalachian Jamwich creators Elise and Taco, and the theme of love, unity, and selflessness runs throughout every aspect of the event.  Every year is made better by the dedicated staff and participants that come together to show their love and support for music, art, and each other.

Creativity and self-expression is encouraged and visual arts play a large role in the overall experience.  There are costume themes each night with great prizes and performance artists such as a fire troupe and hoop troupe.

The festival's mission statement follows Appalachian Jamwich's heart and purpose to lift up the talented people in our community that deserve recognition.  Musical lineups include some of the best up and coming bands on the scene, and often for multiple sets during the weekend so that they can play more songs, better showcase their talent, and best of all, mingle with the attendees.  Past Mad Tea Party Jam lineups have included The Werks, Consider the Source, Dopapod, Papadosio, Rising Appalachia, Moogatu, ELM, TAUK, and many more.

The 2016 lineup has not yet been announced and ticketing information will be available very soon. For more information on Four Quarters Interfaith please visit https://www.4qf.org
