The Mad Tea Party Jam, presented by Appalachian Jamwich - has announced their headliners and full lineup for their fifth annual event.  Two sets of Papadosio, two sets of Twiddle, and two sets of TAUK, has been announced as well as Consider the Source, who will be playing a Radiohead set, ELM, Broccoli Samurai, The Southern Belles, DELTAnine, Brokedown Hustlers, Manor & Friends, Definition of One, Jouwala Collective, Oh Kee Pa and The Clock Reads.  They will join the lineup along with Desert Dwellers, Big Something, Aqueous, LITZ, and more.  This will be the first Mad Tea Party Jam with no overlapping sets, so you won't miss a minute of music!

The unique 3-day festival will take place June 16-19, 2016, at a new venue, Four Quarters Interfaith in Artemis, PA.  This premiere venue of the Northeast features shaded camping, showers, flushing toilets, swimming holes, and a beautiful "vibration" built by years of spiritual love and respect for the land.

The Mad Tea Party Jam was originally created to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Appalachian Jamwich creators Elise and Taco, and the theme of love, unity, and selflessness runs throughout every aspect of the event.  Every year is made better by the dedicated staff and participants that come together to show their love and support for music, art, and each other.

Creativity and self-expression is encouraged and visual arts play a large role in the overall experience. A large artist gallery will be featured and live painters will be creating all over the property.  Our dedicated art and decoration team will be adorning the forest with Alice in Wonderland themed decorations. There are costume themes each night with great prizes and performance artists such as a fire troupe, hoop troupe, and aerialists.  Project Bring Me to Life will be hosting our myriad of workshops that include healing workshops, yoga, hooping, and sobriety/emotional health support.

The festival's mission statement follows Appalachian Jamwich's heart and purpose to lift up the talented people in our community that deserve recognition.  Musical lineups include some of the best up and coming bands on the scene, and often for multiple sets during the weekend so that they can play more songs, better showcase their talent, and best of all, mingle with the attendees.
