Moon Hooch Release Video / 2nd Leg of Fall Tour

In their earliest days, Moon Hooch were known for epic dance party raves they would spontaneously throw on New York City subway platforms.  So raucous were these events that the group was eventually banned from the Bedford Ave L train stop in Brooklyn by the NYPD.  The band's new video for "Rough Sex" is a visual metaphor depicting how Moon Hooch has risen out the subways to the rooftops above and not even the mighty NYPD can shut them down anymore.

As saxophonist Mike Wilbur explains: "Our performances really take on a life of their own and we feed off of a shared energy with our audience every night.  This video shows that energy and the unstoppable force that it is."

Watch the brand new video for "Rough Sex," directed by Lucas McGowen (cousin of saxophonist Wenzl McGowen) here:

Moon Hooch kick off the second leg of their North American fall tour this week with a two-night stand at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City. They'll then head to Europe for nine shows, return to the U.S. for four shows, head back to Europe to play three dates, including the Trans Musicales Festival in France and finish the year with a five night New Year's Eve run in the Northeast.
