The Mother Hips have shared new tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, Glowing Lantern, due December 3 on Blue Rose. Fresh off the 12th edition of their very own festival Hipnic XII in Big Sur, CA this past weekend, the legendary Northern California-based band—who are celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2021—get back on the road with a number of headline shows throughout California, including their annual three-night holiday run at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and two nights at Harlow's in Sacramento to ring in the new year. Additional dates include appearances in Utah and Texas, as well as, their first 2022 performances at the inaugural Tropic of Cancer Festival in Todos Santos, Mexico.
Glowing Lantern is the The Mother Hips' 11th studio recording. The album's first single, "Looking At Long Days" is available on all streaming outlets HERE. The 11-track collection tops off a historic year for the band in which they celebrated 30 years together by reissuing nine of their previous studio albums on vinyl.
