TAUK has just released “Realize” a new single on all digital services. Recorded during the Sir Nebula album sessions, the track was the last song cut to fit the vinyl release. The band wraps their spring tour this weekend with a show tonight in Boston’s Brighton Music Hall and tomorrow at NYC’s Irving Plaza. TAUK will be playing a special set on Saturday in honor of earth day with the West End Blend horns.  Support comes from Consider the Source and Space Bacon.

TAUK has also released a new show on Nugs.net. Billed as TAUKing McGee, the show features a pairing with Umphrey’s McGee’s Jake Cinninger and Joel Cummins at NYC’s BB King Blues Club from January 22nd, 2016.  The band took the stage for a late night after party following an Umphrey’s McGee and TAUK show uptown at the Beacon Theatre. As a massive snow storm blanketed the city (later causing the 1/23 Beacon gig to be cancelled) the band tore through TAUK originals, Umphrey’s “Soul Food 1”  and covers from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bonobo and the Fabulous Counts.

The second Nugs release due out tomorrow is another snow heavy show, this time, a TAUK headline show from 3/29/17 at the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room, where the band played two newer unreleased songs and a mix of fan favorites and covers including Stevie Wonder’s “Contusion”
