Where They Come From
Having seen NRPS many times throughout the 70s and owning a lot of their albums, I was a little concerned when I heard they had gotten back together without McDuke. The first time I saw the "New" New Riders, I was really missing him, but found his songs still sounding great and the band really clicking. One show lead to another to another and another. With this new rocord; these guys have become a new band and one of the the best live acts out there. Their collective connection to the glorious musical past gives them a firm leg up on any "Jam Band" out there. This new record is as good as this reviewer says it is. Go out and get it and get out to a NRPS show. You'll be glad you did, I guarantee it.
