SCI Announces Guests For Their Annual Winter Carnival

Here in Colorado, the snow has been falling, falling… and falling.  To celebrate the winter white, The String Cheese Incident announces their annual Winter Carnival run of shows, this year confirmed for March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th at Denver's Fillmore Auditorium, and March 26th and 27th at Dobson Ice Arena in Vail. In the tradition of Winter Carnival, SCI has announced very special guests to perform each night, including choral symphonic rockers The Polyphonic Spree, 12 piece African drumming group Toumani Diabete's Symmetric Orchestra, renowned mandolin   player and founding member of the progressive bluegrass trio, Nickel Creek , Chris Thile & The How To Grow A Band featuring Bryan Sutton , San Francisco gypsy rockers Tea Leaf Green and underground cult heavyweight Bassnectar .  All five Winter Carnival shows are sold out.

As always, SCI is pleased to partner with Conscious Alliance to hold food drives at each show on this run.  There will be two unique series of limited-edition posters, a 3-Panel set for the Fillmore and a 2-Panel set for Vail free to every patron who donates 10 non-perishable food items per panel.  Artists for these limited edition posters are Robert Venosa, Martina Hoffman and Robert Marx.  All food collected will benefit Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
