The 7th annual SnowGlobe Music Festival (SG17) returned this weekend to its gorgeous alpine home in South Lake Tahoe, California, to ring in the New Year. Taking place over three days and nights, SnowGlobe is the largest outdoor New Year’s Eve music festival in the country. A truly unique and inspiring experience, fans attended SG17, enjoying over 50 diverse artists performing on three stages, late night afterparties,  Big Air snowboard and ski showcases from local Sierra at Tahoe pro-athletes, nightly firework displays and more.

On Friday, December 29th, performances from rising R&B star Khalid, chart-topping DJ Zedd and hip-hop sensation Travis Scott helped kick off the three-day festival. Earlier that afternoon, fans anxiously waited for gates to open, anticipation high for the weekend of great music and fun ahead. Once inside the venue, fans enjoyed a newly re-designed festival site, offering plenty of room to dance, explore and celebrate with friends both new and old. SnowGlobe’s Sierra Stage hosted energetic sets from Luca Lush, Brasstracks, Manila Killa and TroyBoi, while The Igloo saw thrilling performances from Louis Futon, Moon Boots, TOKiMONSTA and a special Tycho DJ Set.

Day two of SnowGlobe 2017 continued on with electrifying results. With warm temperatures and a gorgeous California bluebird sky, SnowGlobers arrived early to catch Andrew Luce open the mainstage. Fan favorites followed, with Porter Robinson, Dillion Francis and Madeon keeping the Main Stage bumping into the night. Oliver Tree, Alexander Lewis, LP Giobbi and Kidnap Kid kept The Igloo grooving and sets from KRANE, Justin Martin and Lane 8 packed the Sierra Stage.

When New Year’s Eve arrived on Sunday, December 31st, fans were eager to ring in 2018 at Day three of the festival. Another mild and sunny afternoon, Opia opened up The Igloo. A stacked schedule at The Igloo followed, with performances from THEY., NoMBe, Justin Jay, Oliver and Shiba San.
