Sold-Out Electric Zoo: Wild Island Festival

SFX Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFXE), the world's largest producer of live events and entertainment content focused primarily on electronic music culture, announced today the successful completion of the Eighth Annual Electric Zoo Festival in New York City.

The three-day music festival, which took place this Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, at Randall's Island Park in New York City, was led by a unique "Wild Island" theme and included over a hundred of the world's biggest artists on multiple stages.  It featured headline performances from Tiësto, Hardwell, current #1 Billboard artists The Chainsmokers, Bassnectar, Porter Robinson and Steve Aoki. The weekend also served as the stateside debut of legendary party experience brands ANTS and Elrow, with an electric main stage lineup.

Festival organizers, Made Event, in creative partnership with electronic music experience pioneer ID&T- well-known for its cutting-edge production of events such as Mysteryland, Sensation and Tomorrowland-took Electric Zoo into its eighth year with a walk on the WILD side inspired by larger-than-life animals. The Main Stage was a reared cobra looming over the crowd. The Riverside Stage took the form of a giant octopus, while other stages included designs such a jungle and frozen tundra.  Ticket holders came from 90 countries and all 50 U.S. states. Notable individuals attending the festival included actress Taryn Manning and Olympic medalist Monica Aksamit.
