Solid Sound Festival Announces Daily Lineup

Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival has announced its daily lineup and single-day tickets, as well as three-day passes, are available now through solidsoundfestival.com. The three-day event, which takes place June 26-28 at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, features two headlining performances by hosts and creators Wilco (one Friday, one Saturday) and includes musical performances by Mac DeMarco, Richard Thompson, Real Estate, Taj Mahal, all Wilco-member side projects and others, plus comedy by John Hodgman and friends, circus performance workshops by Vermont-based Circus Smirkus and more.  
 
"We want to make it unique every year," singer Jeff Tweedy told Rolling Stone in 2013. "We want to make it something you can only experience here."
 
Staying true to his word, Solid Sound, which began in 2010, also features world-class contemporary art, kids’ programming, pop-up performances, an on-site record shop, naturalist hikes and much more.
 
Single day lineups are as follows.
 
Friday:  Wilco, Real Estate, Taj Mahal, Expandable Brass Band, Story Pirates plus The Great Flood: Music by Bill Frisell with Ron Miles, Tony Scherr and Kenny Wollesen with film by Bill Morrison.
 
Saturday: Wilco, Mac DeMarco, Parquet Courts, Richard Thompson Trio, NRBQ, Bill Frisell with Sam Amidon, Cibo Matto, Shabazz Palaces, Mikael Jorgensen’s Quindar, Luluc, Ryley Walker, Jessica Pratt, Story Pirates and Circus Smirkus plus John Hodgman’s Big Comedy Thing featuring Tig Notaro, Paul F. Tompkins, Jessica Williams and Superego.
 
Sunday: Tweedy, featuring Jeff Tweedy and friends, Charles Lloyd Quartet, King Sunny Ade, Nels Cline and Norton Wisdom’s Stained Radiance, The Autumn Defense, The Felice Brothers, William Tyler, Glenn Kotche and Jeffrey Zeigler, Mikael Jorgensen and Jeff Davis.

Saturday single-day tickets are $99 and Friday and Sunday single-day tickets are $65.
