Fan-favorite reggae act Stick Figure, led by the multi-talented frontman, songwriter, and producer Scott Woodruff as well as the beloved Cocoa the Tour Dog, will be teaming up with jamband powerhouse Twiddle for a 17-show run across the country, with additional support from LA-based reggae group Iya Terra. The organic link between jambands and reggae has been clearly drawn with the announcement of the Above the Storm Tour, a traveling representation of top up and comers in each respective scene.

Stick Figure has enjoyed a high level of success in recent years, connecting with fans across the globe with their down-to-earth demeanor, positive message, and hypnotic dub rhythms. With his latest two albums, Burial Ground and Set in Stone, taking the #1 spot on the Billboard Reggae Charts, the latter of which has enjoyed an impressive 78 total weeks on the chart. Coming off a summer full of festival appearances and the latest harvest of his own strain of marijuana, Stick Figure Sour, this upcoming tour sees Stick Figure momentously sentenced to spread smiles on faces across the country. The tour will be fresh on the heels of Stick Figure’s upcoming single and music video, aptly titled “Above the Storm,” due out soon.

Multi-genre-encompassing Twiddle’s live show stays true to the roots of the jamband scene, showcasing a full force of musical chops. While capturing the essence of live jams can be a difficult task, Twiddle’s latest release, Plump, has received rave reviews from critics. Using a wide range of influences has found the band picking up fans across genre lines, and with plenty of reggae undertones, the band is sure to find a welcoming road ahead of them.

With top-tier musicianship and stocks rising across the board, the Above the Storm Tour will bring the calming summertime warm front in early on in 2018. With major acts from the jamband and reggae world uniting for this month-long tour, we hope you’ll be jamming too in a city near you.
