Tiesto and Phoenix to Perform at X Games Aspen 2014
X Games Music Presents returns to downtown Aspen’s Wagner Park Jan. 25 and 26 with four globally recognized musical guests as part of the X Games Aspen 2014 event. International dance music superstar Tiësto anchors the event on Sunday, which also includes a set by Axwell, while Phoenix, and Matt & Kim take center stage on Saturday.
Fans can purchase $30 general admission tickets or $150 X Games Music VIP tickets, which include heated platform viewing, food and drink and more. The X Games Music series in Aspen will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Tickets are now available for purchase at www.bellyupaspen.com.
“I’m a huge sports fan so it’s quite an honor to be a part of the X Games experience,” said Tiësto of his performance in Aspen. “Aspen provides such a unique setting for a DJ set and I can’t wait to party on the slopes.”
While performances from top artists have often been part of the X Games experience, 2013 marked the debut of X Games Music, showcasing world-class musicians and highlighting the artistic and cultural elements inherent in the action sports lifestyle. Last year’s debut of X Games Music Presents featured performances at X Games Aspen by Calvin Harris and Major Lazer. The music series also featured performances by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, 50 Cent, Zedd and AWOLNATION.
“The past year of X Games Music events allowed thousands of fans to experience X Games as a lifestyle brand and we are very excited for the next installment, bringing Tiësto, Phoenix, Axwell and Matt & Kim to downtown Aspen,” said Tim Reed, ESPN’s senior director of content strategy. “We look forward to bringing the Music series back to Wagner Park, offering many more fans the opportunity to experience X Games Music live.”
