On February 23rd at the Austin Music Hall in Austin, Texas audiences will have the unique opportunity to witness an event of historic proportions, fusing the beauty of technology with live performance art in its highest form. For one evening and one evening only, British composer and producer Tipper will join performance cirque group Quixotic to create the ultimate Valentine’s Masquerade Party experience. As featured on TED as well as globally recognized festivals such as Wakarusa, Electric Forest, Wanderlust and Sea of Dreams, Quixotic is an ensemble of artists from various disciplines including aerial acrobatics, dance, fashion, film, music and visual effects. The Kansas City collective mixes violin-based pop, ballet, modern dance, aerial aerobatics, with a dazzling light show.  Refusing to be constrained to any specific art form and challenging traditional perceptions, Quixotic creates a total sensory experience unlike any other for their audience while exploring infinite possibilities of movement, sound and multimedia.Dave Tipper is a British composer and producer specializing in electronic music that ranges from Ambient, through Trip Hop, to up-tempo Nuskool Breakbeat. His live performances consist largely of his own unreleased compositions, and he is highly regarded for scratching his own sounds over his music, creating a live element of turntablism stemming from prowess early in his career as a vinyl DJ. A Tipper live show is a spectacle of incredible precision and sonic accuracy, punctuated by thick and luxurious super-low bass. The dance floor becomes an ethereal field of holographic sound creating a totally immersive environment. Tipper and Quixotic will be taking main stage together to take you on this first ever magical journey to close out the evening following Quixotic’s performance and an opening set by the ever energetic beatmaker VibeSquaD.
