While the majority of the country prepares for winter and snow, global-rock instrumentalists Toubab Krewe are getting ready to spend the first few weeks of 2012 in a warmer climate. Toubab Krewe will start a 5-city Florida run on January 4th in Gainesville, and work their ‘dirty south meets African traditions’ all the way to Key West.

A slight detour on January 9th takes Toubab Krewe off of Florida’s I-95 and onto a massive ship. The band will be heading to the Caribbean on the sold-out Jam Cruise 10 sailing from South Florida and making stops in Haiti and Jamaica. The cruise, returning on January 14th, features sets from Toubab Krewe, Umphrey’s McGee, Galactic, Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Trombone Shorty, 7 Walkers, and much more.  For more information, about this event, visit: jamcruise.com/2012

Twisting together rock, African traditions, jam sensibilities, international folk strains and more, Toubab Krewe fans of all backgrounds let loose to the swirling dance floor rhythms at shows, both on land and at sea.
