With appreciation for being invited to participate, we want to note that the Bonhams "Visions of Garcia" Auction takes place in San Francisco on Tuesday, May 8th at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time.  You can enjoy a live preview at Bonhams Friday, May 4th through Monday, May 7th from Noon to 5pm each day.  Click here for more details, the link to the online site and a video clip of Jason Scheuner describing the Rex Foundation items that are part of the auction.

We recently posted acknowledgements of all the people whose generosity of spirit and action made possible the success of the March 24th Washington, DC Benefit The Wheel.  Take a look at the long list of supporters, while also enjoying some great event photographs.  And,  you can also see photographs from the wonderful April 20th night with the Sacramento Kings, along with thank you's.

Thanks to the successes of our recent benefits, the support generated by Rex Musical Caravan events like the Sacramento Kings event and Bonhams Auction, and your generous contributions, we just distributed another $40,000 in grants. Included was our $10,000 Jerry Garcia Award to the San Francisco Mime Troupe Youth Theater Project.  A $5,000 grant to the Theatre Program of the Duke Ellington School for the Arts in Washington, DC was a direct result of "The Wheel" Benefit.  We'll be back with more details about our new grantees and Award Recipients.  In the meantime, enjoy reading about the outstanding work you are helping advance.

Thank you for being part of the Rex Foundation community and helping us to keep covering just a little more ground.
