Ask anyone who’s witnessed him live and they’ll tell you that Wick-it the Instigator puts on one of the most entertaining shows you’ll ever see. Andrew “Wick-it” Owsley has been slaying the “Dirty South” with his filthy beats for the past decade and though his roots are in hip-hop, he’s quickly evolved into an eclectic producer of dubstep, trap, and moombahton alike.

Wick-it’s destructive mash-ups have earned him a reputation with acts like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, and Z-Trip. His remix repertoire includes artists from Dr. Dre to Motley Crüe, as well as a notable mash-up that put him on the map between Big Boi and the Black Keys called The Brothers of Chico Dusty. Wick-it’s most recent full-length release, Grindhouse Basterds, is a Quentin Tarantino-themed mash-up masterpiece, featuring remixes from Aesop Rock, Ghostface, Notorious B.I.G., and more.

Check out his new single “Feel Lit” to get a taste of what to expect from his live set. Wick-it’s take on dubstep is raw and soulful with a hint of hip-hop influence. Enjoy the track and don’t forget to treat yourself with a free download as well.
