Sol Doc's lyrics reflect his close ties with the land in which he was raised and his carefree yet conscious lifestyle. Growing up in West Marin County on the rolling hills of Mt. Tamalpais looking out at the curling waves of the coast, Sol Doc shares this reality with his mindful lyrical content and positive messages.

The Imaginaries, a husband and wife duo, released their newest single, “Walking On A Wire.” The song is timely, focused on tackling life’s countless obstacles. Maggie McClure specifies it is also about “staying the course, no matter what.” In a time where life is more complicated than normal and the hurdles feel almost impassable, it is comforting as well as a necessity to have Shane Henry and McClure’s duet that exemplifies perseverance.

Ric Robertson’s Strange World EP drips with syrupy trance-funk like an intergalactic spacecraft rising from swampy waters at the far edges of the galaxy, crash-landing in the middle of Frenchmen Street. Where his 2018 full-length debut The Fool, The Friend channeled the lovesick wryness of John Prine, Randy Newman, and Paul Simon, Strange World leans into the rhythmic enchantment of George Clinton, Sly Stone, and Dr. John.

This past Sunday, Grammy nominated bluegrass musician Joe Troop joined protesters outside Postmaster General Louis Dejoy's Greensboro, NC. home with his banjo and played his song titled "A Plea to the US Government to Fully Fund the Postal Service."

Video of the event was captured on Twitter and quickly racked up almost 20,000 views.

After a long hiatus from live performance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vermont jam quartet Twiddle returned to the stage this weekend for three socially distanced drive-in shows. Taking place in Essex Junction, VT, the three sold-out shows were a welcome return to live performance for the band, with over 250 car passes sold for each night.

Throughout their illustrious 45-year career, the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND have played many legendary venues and widely-praised live shows; however, up until this point, the sold-out show on July 19, 2005 at the Warner Theatre in Erie, PA hasn't been included on that list.

An extraordinary piece of rock history will finally be heard this October with the release of the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND's last show with founder and guitarist DUANE ALLMAN. Recorded October 17, 1971 at the Painters Mill Music Fair in Owings Mills, MD, the recording marks Duane's last show, as he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident 12 days later. Recorded on a hand-held cassette machine by 18-year-old radio journalist Sam Idas, this music will be released for the first time on October 16.

The Ries Brothers release “Troubadour,” a stand-out preview of their upcoming LP ‘Paint Your Emotion,’ out September 18 on CSSL/Megaforce Records.

“Troubadour” joins a list of classic, bittersweet odes to life on the road made famous by Creedence Clearwater Revival (“Travelin’ Band”), Bob Seger (“Turn the Page”), Journey (“Faithfully”), Jackson Browne (“The Load-Out”), and other staples of American rock ‘n’ roll - and it was written by two brothers in their teens and early 20s from south Florida.

Earlier this summer, 90s indie cult favorite Billy Pilgrim announced some exciting news. Though the duo, composed of Andrew Hyra and Kristian Bush (Sugarland, Dark Water), thought their final recordings had been lost in a studio fire two decades ago, Bush found a remaining copy at his home during quarantine.
