Today, details for Follow The Light, a virtual music festival to be hosted August 29, 2020 – are unveiled. Produced by We Banjo 3 (WB3) as an ode to the band’s Irish heritage, the evening will feature musical performances by WB3, Gaelic Storm, Sharon Shannon, Nathan Carter and The East Pointers, with non-music festival features throughout the program.

Since The Blues Podcast started in February 2020, it has launched episodes on the last Tuesday of every month. Past guests have included everyone from the queen of modern blues Beth Hart and guitarslinger Walter Trout to world famous pedal steel player Robert Randolph.

Nashville-based blues guitarist/singer JD Simo released the second single and music video, “Love” from his forthcoming full-length album, JD Simo due out on August 21, 2020 on Crow’s Feet Records.

“Don’t Walk Away” is the debut single from The Heavy Hours. The song is reminiscent of a classic, pop rock group. Their video’s first shot is of the band’s name on the drum kit which pans out to the Cincinnati quartet playing on stage. The Beatles preforming on The Ed Sullivan Show or American Bandstand with Dick Clark comes to mind even though those images are way before my time. The band members are long-time friends but they could be brothers.

Americana artist Sunny Gable brings fans her new self-produced EP, Little Things. Written in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Little Things is a simple reminder to find beauty in the midst of all that life throws at you.
