Let’s rewrite the story. Tell other perspectives. Let’s celebrate the overlooked, the outcast, those who knew differently. And when we can, because we should, let’s dance.

A 14x Grammy® winner returns to his bluegrass roots today (Friday, June 23), as DAN TYMINSKI releases the anticipated album, GOD FEARING HEATHEN.

Released via 8 Track Entertainment and distributed by Warner/ADA, the project marks Tyminski’s first bluegrass album in 15 years – and his first ever album of original bluegrass compositions – in a “homecoming” studio set that starts a new chapter for one of the genre’s most celebrated contemporary figures.

Since late last year, singer, songwriter and mandolinist Darren Nicholson has been revving up his solo career after his departure from Balsam Range, the award-winning quintet he helped to found some 15 years ago. Now, following the release of three singles — a chart-topping murder ballad, a spirited gospel number and a gripping instrumental, all self-penned — he's releasing Wanderer, an album that puts an exclamation point on his musical declaration of independence.

Songwriting legend Beth Nielsen Chapman is back, announcing two new singles and a UK summer tour for August 2023.

A Life In Trade, the fifth studio album from Pierce Edens, is due September 15, 2023. Today, the rural North Carolina born-and-raised songwriter and craftsman shares the first single from his forthcoming work – a nostalgic rendition of Sesame Street’s iconic ballad, “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon” (listen/share). Aptly positioned at the close of the record, the earnest lullaby draws the curtain on Edens’ most soul-baring work to date.

In a heavy-hearted announcement on June 23, 2023, we mourn the passing of a mandolin legend and celebrated musician, Jesse McReynolds, aged 93. His soulful melodies and intricate picking have made a lasting impression on the bluegrass scene, reaching into the heart of the Grateful Dead's extensive repertoire. His profound influence extended beyond the confines of genre, and his unique approach to the mandolin left an indelible mark on music history.

Dead & Company's Final Tour rolled on to Queens, NY for a two-night stand at Citi Field, home of the NY Mets. Night one in the Big Apple kicked off on June 21, 2023, at this MLB stadium, with a capacity of around 41,000 fans. The band brought two vibrant sets that included a sit-in by drummer Joe Russo, from Joe Russo's Almost Dead.

Ten time IBMA Award winner Becky Buller and legendary singer/songwriter Jim Lauderdale combine forces on the Reno and Smiley classic “Wall Around Your Heart”. Re-imagining this traditional song as a partner duet, they are joined by Jeremy Stephens (banjo), Lauren Price-Napier (mandolin), Missy Raines (bass), Stephen Mougin (guitar), and Stuart Duncan (twin fiddle).

Today, San Luis Obispo indie-rockers Próxima Parada, just off a hugely successful tour supporting Wild Child, are thrilled to share their new song “Tunnel Through A Mountain.” The band offers a tender and emotional landscape for the track, creating the space needed in a song centered around depression.
