Leftover Salmon's Blue Ridge Jam takes over Asheville

Looking back over the past 25 years of rootsy, string-based music, the impact of Leftover Salmon is impossible to deny. Formed in Boulder at the end of 1989, the Colorado slamgrass pioneers were one of the first bluegrass bands to add drums and tour rock & roll bars, helping Salmon become a pillar of the jam band scene and unwitting architects of the jam grass genre.

On June 10 & 11, 2016 thousands of music enthusiasts will make their way to the first incarnation of Bonanza Campout in Deer Valley, Utah.  Set to the picturesque backdrop of Jordanelle State Park, the boutique music and camping festival will feature over 30 live performances by renowned headliners and emerging artists, plus local breweries and eateries, a variety of on site activities, and more.

Tortuga Music Festival Sets Record Attendance

Huka Entertainment announced today a record year for the fourth annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, held over the weekend at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. Nearly 90,000 fans flocked to the beach for three days of performances from superstars Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley, along with Sam Hunt, Elle King, Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kelsea Ballerini and 25 more musical acts!

This time of year is special for a multitude of reasons, however for many concert-goers this time of year means one crucial thing, music festivals are upon us. The festival scene have grown exponentially in the last five years, many starting as underground gatherings that have since blossomed into extravagant music and arts communities, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans from across the globe.

On what appeared to be a beautiful sunny day at the opening of the fourth annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, tens of thousands of attendees packed the sand.  For the first Friday show in Tortuga history – a third day was added this year to accommodate the demand – fans were treated to amazing performances by Cam, Kristian Bush, Randy Houser, and more.
