The week between Christmas and New Year's Eve is always a quiet one in New York City, when tourists stay home and residents venture elsewhere to visit friends and family. But the typical seasonal slow-down was nonexistent inside the walls of Williamsburg's Brooklyn Bowl on Wednesday night, where the crowd buzzed with anticipation for The Felice Brothers' first show at the venue since January 2020.

All-star collaborations for NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH, a star-studded entertainment special hosted by country music stars and GRAMMY®-nominated artists Jimmie Allen and Elle King and ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Rachel Smith were announced today. The celebration to ring in the new year will air LIVE from Music City, Saturday, Dec. 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT; 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz will ring in the New Year on December 30 & 31 at JaM Cellars Ballroom in Napa, CA. Joining Les, Skerik, and Mike Dillon is special guest Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. Vinnie has toured and recorded with many artists, including Frank Zappa, having played drums on the iconic Joe’s Garage album. The King Street Giants will open the show. The Roots were also among the most progressive acts in contemporary music, from their 1993 debut through their conceptual 2010s releases. Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the legendary 3x GRAMMY® winning Salsa and Latin jazz band, has received a GRAMMY ® nomination for their new album Imágenes Latinas. Nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album, this dynamic record finds the iconic group traveling through a wide variety of moods and styles while paying homage to the iconic New York Latin pop group, Conjunto Libré. The 65th annual GRAMMY® Awards will take place on February 5, 2023.

The Marley Brothers - Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian, and Ky-Mani join together for an unforgettable debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre performing classic songs from Bob Marley's catalog as well as Marley Brothers originals. Acclaimed jazz trumpeter and bandleader David Weiss brings his formidable sextet to Zinc on Tuesday, January 3. He’s supported by pianist Victor Gould, tenor saxophonist Nicole Glover, alto saxophonist Myron Walden, bassist Eric Wheeler, and drummer E. J. Strickland.

The Surf Hotel, located in the new urbanism neighborhood of South Main in Buena Vista, CO., announced it will host its first winter celebration on The LAWN New Year’s Eve. The evening will feature live music with Rapidgrass, hot beverages, and fire pits. This inaugural event will also offer visitors a free art installation spotlighting artist Brett Phares of lightStruct, who will design five digital light projections throughout South Main.
