Ahead of the December 17th release of Frank Zappa’s 200 Motels 50th Anniversary Edition, the Zappa Trust and UMe are giving another glimpse into some of the extraordinary unreleased and rare material unearthed from FZ’s vault that will be available on the monstrous new six-disc box set that boasts a new remaster of the original soundtrack, demos, studio outtakes, work mixes, interviews and movie ads, along with newly discovered dialog reels, revealing an early audio edit of the film.

Lacuna, the debut album by guitarist Tom Hamilton and pianist Holly Bowling, is released today via Royal Potato Family. The duo, who also perform together in the acclaimed rock band Ghost Light, captured the music in one stream of consciousness, completely improvised recording session at Hamilton's studio The Ballroom in Philadelphia. Chicago-based singer-songwriter-pianist Neal Francis has shared his new video for the song “Problems,” the latest single from his new album, In Plain Sight (ATO). In Plain Sight is Francis' second album and it was mixed by GRAMMY® Award winner Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, MGMT). The hilarious and raucous clip, directed by Alec Basse and Max Moore, finds Francis singing on a microphone dropped down from the ceiling in a doctor's office waiting room.
