A powerhouse from the Lone Star State, Ally Venable has ignited excitement in the modern blues scene. The 22-year-old lead vocalist and guitarist started singing at an early age in church. Then, much to her parent's chagrin, she picked up the guitar and quickly found her passion. She soon established herself as a Texas blues guitar slinger.

Today, Tim Kelly announced Ride Through the Rain, his debut album produced by his son, acclaimed artist Ruston Kelly. The album is out on November 5 and includes nine original songs spanning from his teenage years to the present day, showcasing Kelly as an artist with relatable real-life songs and a perspective honed over decades. In addition to the announcement, Tim Kelly has offered the album’s first single, “Leave This Town,” along with a live performance of the song featuring Ruston.

Dolly Parton is an American treasure who continues to captivate one generation after another. Trinidad López III was born in Dallas, Texas on May 15, 1937, and at the tender age of 15 formed his first band, the Big Beats. Lopez played guitar; his repertoire consisted of Mexican folk songs, rhythm and blues hits and rock ’n’ roll favorites. The Big Beats played the local clubs, where Lopez met Buddy Holly. Thanks to Nederlander Concerts, a few thousand fortunate live music fans were treated to an intimate concert at the beautiful Vina Robles Amphitheatre on September 22nd. St. Vincent and Spoon brought a blistering double bill of guitar-drenched rock to the mountain fringed venue just three days before their sold-out appearance in front of 18,000 fans at the Hollywood Bowl.
