Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real returned to “CBS This Morning” this past weekend as part of their “Saturday Sessions” series performing three songs from their acclaimed new album, A Few Stars Apart: “Perennial Bloom (Back to You),” “More Than We Can Handle” and “Giving You Away.”

Brandi Carlile will return to the stage to perform Joni Mitchell’s legendary album Blue in full on November 6 at Carnegie Hall. Tickets for the tribute concert will be available early for fan club members starting tomorrow at 11:00am ET followed by public pre-sale on Wednesday at 11:00am ET and general on-sale on Thursday at 11:00am ET.

Keeping with a longstanding tradition of MerleFest’s all-hands-on-deck late night jam, MerleFest, presented by Window World, is happy to announce their 2021 installment of the after-hours jamboree: Gulf Breeze: Songs Of The Third Coast. Co-presented by Music City Roots and hosted by the eclectic and enthralling Shinyribs, this year’s late night jam will focus on music from the broadly varied traditions along our countries third coast.

I don’t know what normal is anymore. So, I am still a little dumbfounded when people say we are getting back to normal. Tuesday night, seeing Billy Strings play at The Champlain Valley Expo outside of Burlington, VT felt like it landed right between those two paradigms; seizing on the optimistic return to what was, and infecting what is with that same sense of buoyancy.

The Mishawaka Amphitheater is a mystical place that lies somewhere between a state highway and a river in northern Colorado.
