The Grey Eagle is proud to announce its first pair of drive-in style concerts featuring full band performances from master mandolinist Sam Bush on Sunday, September 20 and 9-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Del McCoury on Saturday, October 3. The shows will take place at Maggie Valley Fairgrounds and will be the first in a series of socially-distanced off-site events presented by The Grey Eagle.

SiriusXM and The Blues Foundation announced today their new collaboration to broaden the content and reach of B.B. King’s Bluesville (ch. 74). The channel will be powered by The Blues Foundation, which will directly expand the featured programming to include exclusive performances, artist interviews and archival content that only The Blues Foundation can provide.

San Francisco Bay Area’s Another Planet Entertainment (APE), the largest independent promoter in the U.S., is joining the California Events Coalition and other local venues in supporting the nationwide campaign #WeMakeEvents #RedAlertRESTART and #ExtendPUA for a major call to action on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, imploring the US Congress to pass the RESTART Act (S.3814) as quickly as possible, offering economic relief to the Live Events Industry, which has been shuttered since March, 2020, putting millions of people out of work.
