On Saturday, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats made their heralded return to “Austin City Limits” to perform songs off their third studio album The Future as well as some additional fan favorites. Recorded live at ACL’s home studio in Austin, the performance marks the second time the band has appeared on the Peabody Award-winning program.

After an incredible inaugural year that welcomed 50,000 fans, GoldenSky Country Music Festival is headed back to Sacramento in 2023 with a massive lineup led by Eric Church, Sacramento’s own Jon Pardi, Maren Morris and Parker McCollum.

Today, Memphis rock/alt-country band Lucero releases “Macon If We Make It” from the forthcoming album Should’ve Learned by Now, out February 24 via Liberty & Lament/Thirty Tigers. Inspired by an impending hurricane, the song draws parallels between a literal storm and a troubled relationship back home, before the listener is carried out like a raft on guitarist Brian Venable’s ripping guitar solo.

Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard will - once again - be reuniting for an extended run of dates in celebration of the 15th (and counting) anniversary of their film Once. The duo reconvened for the first time in ten years last March 2022 for a limited number of sold-out shows. The response was so overwhelmingly positive they’d hoped to do more shows sooner, but in these modern times tomorrow is five days and next month is next year. Thus, these shows are right on time.
