deadmau5 serves a bouncy beat for YTCracker’s hacking lore reckoning ‘anti security.’  The track first started appearing in mau5’ pandemic drive-in sets in 2021 and then landed YT a guest appearance during his annual ‘Day of the deadmau5 – Red Rocks’ shows.  Now the track will appear on the WAF compilation as the second deadmau5 offering following “XYZ.”

Bellingham, Wash. folk duo Raveis Kole released their new meditative psychedelic-folk single “Glacier,” a treatise on climate change and the shrinking glaciers. Written after a trip to Glacier National Park, this droning and ethereal journey to the top of Logan's Pass is about contemplating ourselves, our world and the glacier itself. The song is a visceral and elegant experience as it lyrical paints an emotional picture of a beautiful vista of our changing world.
 

On Wednesday, January 4, award-winning roots, blues and Americana vocalist Shemekia Copeland will appear on the nationally broadcast NPR radio program, World Cafe. On the show, Copeland discusses her career with host Stephen Kallao and performs (along with her full band) songs from her Grammy-nominated 2022 album, Done Come Too Far. World Cafe originates from WXPN-FM in Philadelphia, where it airs daily at 2:00pm Eastern time.

Spafford closed out a massive 2022 campaign with two nights in their hometown of Phoenix, AZ.

These were the final shows with keyboardist Andrew “Red” Johnson, who concluded his tenure with the band after an amazing 11 year run.

Night 1 Highlights: Former Spafford drummer Cam LaForest joined the band for nearly the entire show on 12/30. Opened with a 21-minute “Comfortable”. They played “Simon & Lilly” with just Cameron before Nick came back for the rest of the show. Fiery “Whipping Post” to close the first set.
