Jon McIntire, former manager of the Grateful Dead and New Riders of the Purple Sage, was also a longstanding member of the Rex Board of Directors, continuing until his passing as an active member of the Rex Advisory Board. On Thursday, February 16th, 2012, Jon McIntire passed away. We feel a profound sense of loss.

Grateful Fest, a fundraising concert to benefit Poudre Canyon Fire Department, comes to Mishawaka Amphitheatre on Friday September 7. The event celebrates the successful efforts of firefighters to save the Mishawaka as well as the vast majority of properties in the Poudre Canyon. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Fire Department along with donations from Mishawaka partners and friends such as TicketBiscuit, Shaped Music, Carbon Leaf and Keller Williams.
