Seeing the sprawling hills of Bradley, CA filling the rear view with colorful sunsets and enchanting memories, the eleventh glorious Lightning in a Bottle concludes as the West Coast’s premier camping, arts, music and yoga festival again surpassing the expectations of all.

After taking the scenic route in the old CJ-7 through the Blue Ridge Parkway, driving through yet another torrential downpour from the Purple Rain, and a glorious lightning storm the likes of which we have yet to see this year, we arrived at Pop’s Farm. Rooster Walk 8 had just begun. We arrive slightly damp yet super amped to be back with the Farm in the woods, jamming to the bluegrass vibrations in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Purple Hat Productions has released the daily schedule for the ninth annual Purple Hatter’s Ball (PHB) taking place at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida June 17-19, 2016.

Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty has announced the line-up for the sixth annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival to be held on the Green on Saturday, August 20, from noon until 10:00 p.m. This year’s free concert will celebrate the 90th birthday of legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli who has become a regular fixture at the annual festival.
