Electric Forest: July 4 weekend in Rothbury, MI

The 3rd Annual Bring Our Music Back Festival (B.O.M.B. Fest) is back and bigger than ever! Bring Our Music Back, Inc. along with Frank Bombaci, Sr. and Frank Bombaci, Jr. are proud to announce the diverse group of artists that has been assembled for 2011. B.O.M.B. Fest 2011 has assembled its most ambitious lineup to date, bringing together some of the best names in hip-hop, alternative and indie rock, giving the East Coast its own premiere music festival. 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival | July 15th - 17th

The 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival will take place on Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17th! The three-day music festival returns to Chicago’s Union Park to celebrate cutting-edge music from around the world on three stages, giving festival-goers one of the most inviting, reasonably priced, and unexpected weekends of music under the sun.

The Pitchfork Music Festival has brought the likes of Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, Bon Iver, Animal Collective, Girl Talk, Sleigh Bells, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Beach House, Dan Deacon, Deerhunter, St. Vincent, Best Coast, Titus Andronicus, and more, just as those bands were beginning to tickle the consciousness of the nation. An independently run, consistently sold-out event, the Pitchfork Music Festival attracts 50,000 fans of all ages from 45 states and 26 countries. 2011 Suwannee Springfest Ticket Info: From February 1–March 15 tickets will be priced at $150. From March 16-March 23 tickets will be $165. Students can purchase discounted tickets in advance for $110 and for $150 at the gate (current, non-expired ID required).

From March 23 on, including at the festival gates, all regular weekend tickets will be $180. Saturday/Sunday two-day passes (with camping) will be $145 and available only at the gate. Hangout Music Festival Rolls-Out Payment Plan

Due to high-demand, Hangout Music Festival will offer a payment plan for fans looking for a flexible budgeting option. 3-day passes to the Hangout  (May 20-22, 2011) can now be made in 3 easy payments, starting at 10 am EST Friday, February 18th.

Tickets and VIP Packages paid for under the payment plan will be charged 34% of total plus shipping and handling fees at time of purchase. After that, the customer’s card used at the time of purchase will be billed another portion of the charges on April 1st, and then charged the final amount on May 1st.

Scheduling for Payment:

Deposit (at time of purchase) – 34% of ticket price plus shipping and handling charges

Payment 2 (April 1, 2011) – 33% of ticket price

Payment 3 (May 1, 2011) – final 33% of ticket price

Yoko Ono Set To Appear At SXSW Music Festival

SXSW is thrilled to announce Yoko Ono as a very special featured speaker for the 25th Music Conference and Festival. Ms. Ono will sit down with Jody Denberg for a SXSW Interview on Friday March 18th. From her pioneering work in the Fluxus movement of the 1960s to the recent Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland, Ono's art has challenged and informed, melding the personal to the universal in simple and unique ways. Her marriage and creative collaboration with John Lennon was a love story played out on the global stage. Ono's music laid the groundwork for the sounds of punk rock and new wave. Recently, Ono has had five consecutive dance singles charting at #1 on the top of the Billboard Dance Chart. 

In 2009, she received Mojo Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award, and she assembled a new PLASTIC ONO BAND for her latest album, Between My Head And The Sky, co-produced with son Sean Lennon, on his Chimera Music label.  From gallery to stage to social media platforms, Yoko Ono brings a message of peace to the world. 4th Annual Purple Hatter’s Ball Announces Lineup

Big IV Productions is proud to present the fourth annual Purple Hatter’s Ball honoring the memory of longtime friend Rachel Hoffman. This three-day festival will be held May 13-15, 2011 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida and features a diverse lineup of musicians. Northwest String Summit Tickets this Friday!

Advance tickets to the tenth annual Northwest String Summit music festival featuring four days of music and camping will be available Friday, February 4 at all TicketsWest outlets and online at TicketsWest.

The boutique music festival, located at Hornings Hideout near Portland, Ore., will increase to a four day festival from July 21 through Sunday, July 24, 2011 in celebration of its ten year anniversary.

All ages advance 4-day passes will cost $125 from February 4 through March 11 and include four nights of music, camping, parking and free early entry to the festival on Thursday, July 24, 2011.  A limited supply of RV passes will also be available for purchase beginning on Friday, February 4 for $75.

Featured artists confirmed to date include Yonder Mountain String Band; Keller and the Keels featuring Kelly Williams, and the husband and wife combo of Larry and Jenny Keel; Todd Snider & Great American Taxi Featuring Vince Herman; the Emmitt Nershi Band; the Cascadia Project featuring Darol Anger, Scott Law, Sharon Gilchrist and Samson Grisman; Jackstraw; and Pert Near Sandstone.

Additional bands have recently confirmed to play the festival each to be announced soon.
