Take everything you think you know about music festivals and throw it out the tour bus window. Set on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, Hangout Fest is music’s most luxurious weekend. With pools that front the Hangout Main Stage and hammocks lining the beach, fans can catch their favorite musicians in unparalleled comfort and proximity. From May 17-19, the 2019 edition of the festival will feature an all-star cast of performers from various genres including Travis Scott, The Lumineers and Khalid.

Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti - announces its 2019 Summer Tour, kicking off on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1st in Mountain View, California at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and returning for two-night stands at iconic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Wrigley Field (Chicago, Illinois), The Gorge Amphitheatre (George, Washington), and Folsom Field (Boulder, Colorado), as well as a concert at the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium. Noise Pop Festival, the San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere indie music and arts festival, is revealing today the second wave of music acts confirmed to perform at the 27th annual celebration of independent culture, music, art and film set to return to the SF Bay Area on February 25 – March 3, 2019.

One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street, makes its home in and around the Rocky Mountain region of North America. Spawned from jam sessions at the Ancient Mariner bar in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 1987, Shakedown Street quickly grew in popularity, and garnered a legion of loyal fans who refer to themselves as "Shakeheads". In a few short years, throngs of "Shakeheads" could be found on the highways and byways of the Rocky Mountains, making their way to another Shakedown Street show.

Genre-melding quintet The Way Down Wanderers have announced the February 22nd release of their independent sophomore album illusions. Hailing from Peoria, IL, the group craft stories inspired by the heartland with a unique blend of sounds stemming from their varied musical backgrounds. Produced by Grammy winner David Schiffman (HAIM, Johnny Cash, Rage Against The Machine), this is not your average roots/rock record.
