All Good Presents Announces Lineup for Believe in Music Festival

Music fans from all over the region are encouraged to join in the celebration of the inaugural Believe in Music Festival held Saturday, July 26 at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, MD. Featuring live performances from Thievery Corporation, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Jimmy Cliff, Lake Street Dive, BoomBox, The Bridge and DJ Who featuring Believe in Music Kids. Beyond experiencing an extremely diverse and eclectic music lineup, attendees can feel gratified knowing that the proceeds from their ticket purchase supports the inspiration and encouragement of under-privileged youth of Baltimore City by enabling them to receive music education through the Believe in Music organization.The gates open to scenic Oregon Ridge Park at 11 AM on Saturday, July 26 and will set the stage for more than ten hours of music including internationally acclaimed artists as well as other leading artists within their respective genres.  
Washington DC’s Thievery Corporation accurately represents the festival’s diversity of musical styles having spent nearly two decades creating boundary-warping, complex crafted electronic music partly inspired by bossa nova’s intricate rhythms and lush textures. NPR Music states that “The duo has been praised for its sleek acid-jazz dream sequences and frenetic rhythm programming.” At Believe in Music, they’ll be performing with their full band of nearly twenty members locked into focused rhythm and melody.Known for exhilarating live shows, Rodrigo y Gabriela have won the hearts of music lovers from the haciendas of Cuba to the Hollywood Bowl and festival fields of Europe, as they continue to weave their unique six-string magic.The Grammy-winning musician, actor, singer, songwriter, producer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Jimmy Cliff, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the most important reggae movie ever made, The Harder They Come.  Jimmy Cliff is touring in support of his new album, Rebirth.Though Lake Street Dive has been performing for nearly a decade, touring off their new release Bad Self Portraits, has exposed the band to a whole new global audience, putting them on a trajectory of selling out dozens of venues on their national tour, performing on several late-night TV shows, a feature in Rolling Stone and much more.In addition to great music, attendees can enjoy craft beer presented by Maryland’s Flying Dog Brewery and a thoughtful selection of local wine, food and festival vendors.
